Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 April 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Approvox platform (“Service”) provided by Devtower Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

Approvox is a communication platform that facilitates interactions between accountancy firms (“Firms”) and their clients (“Clients”). The Service provides AI-generated draft answers to Client questions, which must be reviewed and approved by a qualified accountant before being presented as professional advice.

3. Professional Responsibility

The Firm, not Approvox, is the professional provider of record for any answer marked APPROVED within the Service.

AI-generated drafts are provided as a starting point for professional review only. They do not constitute professional advice, tax advice, or any form of regulated advice until a qualified accountant at the subscribing Firm has reviewed and approved the content. The subscribing Firm accepts full professional responsibility for all approved answers delivered to its Clients through the Service.

Approvox does not provide, and does not purport to provide, accountancy, tax, legal, or financial advice. The Company accepts no liability for the content of approved answers or for any reliance placed upon them by Clients or any third party.

4. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account.

5. Subscription and Payment

The Service is offered on a subscription basis at the prices published on our website. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We offer a 14-day free trial period. After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. An audit log of all actions is maintained and can be exported by the subscribing Firm for compliance purposes.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate draft answers. These drafts are generated by third-party AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. AI-generated content is clearly marked as “pending professional review” and must not be relied upon until approved by a qualified accountant. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. On termination, your right to access the Service will cease. We will retain your data for 90 days following termination, after which it will be permanently deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request an export of your data before the retention period expires.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
